INFLUENCES:
From the world of music: include bands such as 36 Crazyfists, Killswitch Engage, Machinehead, Lamb of God, Limp Bizkit (circa Significant Other, Chocolate Starfish era’s! (although Eat You Alive is also awesome)) Heaven Shall Burn, It Dies Today to name a few. I’ve gained a lot of ideas from listening to bands like these which have given me a much wider scope of ways to mix up the vocals and guitars in our songs. The idea’s some of these bands are coming up with are unbelievable.

From the world in general: I find inspiration in lots of things, some real life situations and feelings but a lot are just made up story’s and idea’s from other people’s perspectives. If everything came from the same place I think people would get very tired of it, very quickly, so I like to have a varied outlook.

In 5 years time: I’d like to be on a tour bus, with the 4 coolest guys I know, on our way to play a proper gig. None of this local pub crap, I’m talking the kind of gig where I can get half way through a song, stop singing, hold my mic out to the people in front of us and hear everyone in the building singing our song back at us. That’s where I wanna be.

Other than that: Thank you to everyone who supports us, everyone who has got this far on my profile, and anyone who passes on any good words, to us or to other people, about Solus Ipse. Without that, we’re just five guys having a jam. The only reason we do this is knowing that what we’re creating is putting a smile on someone’s face.
